Student Ministries

University Presbyterian Church provides a welcoming space for university students to grow spiritually and connect with peers. Students are invited to join a range of activities designed to foster both personal development and community.

Whether you're seeking meaningful conversations, opportunities to serve, or a supportive faith community, UPC is here to support your journey.

We welcome new faces and new ideas for fellowship. Please drop by for a visit on Sunday and check us out, or call the church office!

The chair of our Ministry with University Students Committee is Lee Ann Grace.

Bible Study & Luncheon Events

All church luncheons are free for students, with dedicated seating reserved specifically for the university student group, making it easy to engage, share, and build lasting friendships.

The Rev. Stuart Buisch of Campus Church ConneXion offers Bible study and a light meal in the Fellowship Room, usually twice a month.

Musical Ministries

We invite you to share your musical gifts in worship, either as a member of one of our choirs or only occasionally.

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses Sundays at 9:00 am.

The Handbell Choir normally prepares a piece for Advent/Christmas and for Lent/Easter. Rehearsal dates and times to be determined (usually Sundays following worship).

Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for volunteer opportunities? University students may volunteer in the food pantry located in the church. (Current volunteer hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. May need more help for delivery services.)

Fellowship Events

The university student group also has fun outside of church! Fellowship events in the past have included movie nights, state park outings, ice skating, visiting different churches, and meeting for dinner.
